Charlotte Safos
Product Development Director

Charlotte Safos has more than 15 years of experience in project management, strategic planning, and advocacy.  Currently she is Product Development Director for AT KidSystems™, the manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of Cosmo’s Learning Systems™ developed by AnthroTronix.  She also serves as Project Management Director for AnthroTronix, a human factors research and development engineering firm. 

Prior to joining AT KidSystems™ and AnthroTronix, Ms. Safos worked for the United Cerebral Palsy Association, a national disability organization.  She was responsible for development and management of projects for children and adults with disabilities.  She oversaw the grants program including developing the Request for Proposals and analyzing proposal submissions, as well as writing and producing the Annual Report, newsletter articles, and brochures.  She also managed the Website content, an online forum on internal programs, and three national conferences.

In addition, Ms. Safos has experience in the legislative and social service arenas.  She was a legislative aide at the Coleman Research Corporation, caregiver at Casa de Esperanza group home for abused and neglected children and infants with HIV/AIDs in Houston, and served as a legislative correspondent for former U.S. Senator Lowell Weicker.

Ms. Safos earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Catholic University.  She is active in community organizations as a member of the Child Health Center Board of the Children’s National Medical Center and previously was a member of Children’s Defense Fund and an Advisory Board Member for Project SUCCESS (National Learn and Serve America Project).
