Who is Cosmo’s Learning Systems™ designed to benefit?

Cosmo’s Learning Systems™ is for children of developmental ages 2-to-8 years. The first software title, Cosmo’s Play and Learn™ Playground Discovery, develops pre-numeracy and pre-literacy skills for students of developmental ages 3-to-5. Mission Control™ is a computer input device for developmental ages 2-to-8.  Mission Control was specially developed to be accessible to children with and without disabilities.

Why Cosmo’s Learning Systems?

Learning in early childhood is primarily accomplished by focused attention and play. Educators agree that early childhood education has a great influence on later success in school, specifically in preparation for literacy and numeracy. Cosmo’s Play and Learn software utilizes fun, interactive, game-like activities to engage young children as they explore the world through numeracy and literacy.

Thoughtful consideration led to the development of Cosmo’s Learning Systems to increase the opportunities for students with disabilities to actively participate in a least restrictive learning environment. The student adaptations and software settings allow for an inclusive learning environment where students with disabilities may learn and grow side by side with their peers using the same computer input device (Mission Control) and software (Cosmo’s Play and Learn software) to develop pre-literacy and pre-numeracy skills. Cosmo’s Learning Systems delivers services in a fun, educational, and individualized environment determined by the class curriculum or Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals of your students.
