Watch the child explore new worlds with Cosmobot while having fun learning!
Cosmo’s Play and Learn™ software family delivers the first in a series of games entitled Playground Discovery. The animated virtual robot Cosmobot™ helps children discover the magic of learning amidst a backdrop of a playground.
Playground Discovery features highly interactive software with quality graphics that targets the goals of literacy, cause and effect, attention to task, and verbal skills. These targeted individual goals are reinforced with activities included in the accompanying Curriculum Guide for the system plus the extra bonus of specially designed Magnetic Manipulatives.
Poised for adventure, Cosmobot flies off in a spaceship toward one of three chosen planets.
The green planet is the Bubble Planet, enticing the child to Blow Bubbles. Also included are the Bubble-a-Tron and Bubble Recipe activities. Goals include color recognition and concepts of big and small, and more or less.
Flying to the blue Hide & Seek Planet takes the child to the playground for Pop the Bubbles and Hide & Seek activities. Goals include spatial awareness, directional awareness, and prepositions.
Exploring the red Jump-Jump Planet entertains the child with the Jump-Jump Numbers and Jump-Jump Shapes activities. Goals include number identification (1-5) and shape recognition.
Cosmobot likes to play along with the child and wants to have fun sharing in the discoveries in the playground. Cosmobot provides the child with specific instructions on how to use Mission Control™ to play each activity.
